Our Factory
Legacy's factory features state-of-the-art machinery, advanced design systems, and impressive finishing capabilities. We have over 2,200 employees including approximately 150 skilled hand carvers. The factory currently consists of over 1,000,000 square feet. That's right, we said One Million Square Feet.
We use the finest quality materials available.
We proudly use FAS, kiln dried American oak and American maple.  Genuine mother-of-pearl sites and our leather supplier counts most major US furniture manufacturers among its customer base. Our reputation is important to us, so we work hard to seek out the best material suppliers available.
Since we are the manufacturer of every piece of billiard tables or game room furniture bearing the Legacy name, you get the benefit of a company that knows and controls the quality of its products, from consistent finishes and styling to solid, sturdy construction. We are unique in this regard.
Design & Development
Our U.S. marketing and merchandising department works closely with our design engineers to make sure Legacy offers the finest products imaginable at price points that meet consumer demands. Our goal is to be a leader when it comes to styling and construction combined with competitive pricing. Additionally, we bring something to the table that no other manufacturer offers… a complete, matching game room of furniture manufactured and finished under one roof!
Production
We continuously evaluate the performance of our existing production tools (machinery, processes, and staff) versus production demand and invest in new equipment, improved procedures, quality staff etc., as needed. The factory combines up to date technology such as CNC machines, auto carvers, sanding masters, rotary lumber lamination machine and auto carvers with old world master craftsman skills. Legacy currently has about 150 trained master carvers that apply their skills to allow us to say that our products are truly "hand carved"!
Finishing
Legacy currently has two (2) types of finishing lines. The first is electrostatic with a suspended conveyor. This system encompasses 5,000 linear feet with three (3) disc rooms and eight (8) painting booths. The second is a floor conveyor, which is 2,000 linear feet and has twelve (12) painting booths. Our experience in the furniture business combined with our close relationship with the experts at Valspar put us at an advantage over our competition by allowing us to put a "fine furniture finish" on all Legacy billiard tables and game room furniture.
Materials
Legacy uses the finest materials available. We use only the highest-grade (FAS) U.S. lumber for our solid maple and oak products! We use industry respected HumeWood MDF as the core for our veneered items. All of our finishing materials are supplied by the most well respected name in the finishing business, Valspar, which recently purchased the Lily Company. Our slate is quarry-mined, precision cut, diamond-honed, and polished to within ten thousandths of an inch. Our pockets are 100% leather, #6 iron, and custom matched to our tables. When you think about what goes into our products, the value you receive looks even better, doesn't it?
Packaging
We realize that our product will be handled several times before it gets into our customers' hands, so we take extra care with the packaging of our products by using material like heavy duty cartons, protective crates, and inner packaging support. Our easy to assemble, KD table construction allows for condensed packing resulting in minimal storage requirements for our dealers.
Quality Control
Our  goal is to provide pool tables to our customers that we would proudly display on a showroom floor or in our own homes. Our QC managers play an important role in helping us achieve this goal. A QC manager  in our  factory  carries a great deal of authority. They have the authorization to completely shut down the production line if they spot a problem. QC managers are placed at every production station in the factory, and we follow QC procedures that are acceptable under ISO certification.
